Keith O'Blenis

Keith D. O'Blenis, age 70 of Portland Maine, a lover of life and helping others, passed away on June 23 at Maine Medical Center after a long bout in the intensive care unit with COPD and complications.

 

He is survived by his brother, Ronald O'Blenis of NH and his long time partner of 20 years, John Flynn of Portland ME. Preededed in death by his only child, Sean O'Blenis 10 years ago.

 

Previous to his retirement last year, he worked as a representative payee at Common Space in Portland almost 20 years.

 

More than anything, Keith loved singing. From the church choir to the Gay Men's Chorus, his bass voice added a richness to every song.

 

Keith will be cremated by Cremation of Southern Maine and his memorial service is planned for July 18th at 2pm at Williston-Immanuel United Church at 156 High Street in Portland. All are welcome!
